Unique Ashland-area Thrift Store seeks a mature, energetic, and dependable associate to coordinate and support day-to-day store and retail operations (2-3 shifts per week). This is a customer-facing position, so you should enjoy working with the public and have a pleasant and engaging personality. The ideal applicant would have previous experience working in an upscale thrift store or antique store environment. The candidate must be energetic, well-spoken, and communicative. Our fast-paced shop supports local area charities through its sales efforts, and we have a steady number of both new and wonderfully loyal repeat customers. This position requires someone in good physical condition. Y ou should be comfortable helping to move furniture items around in the shop as well as loading pieces of furniture (with assistance) into customers' vehicles. Store hours are Tues-Friday 10am-6pm and Saturdays 9am-3pm. Interest in, and knowledge of vintage furniture, antiques, and various household items is required.
